Privacy Policy

CHONKY HQ has no account, no sign-up, no analytics and no advertising. We do not run a server, and we never receive any of your data.
What this covers
This policy applies to the CHONKY HQ Android app and to the website chetis.fr. CHONKY HQ is the official community-partnered app for $CHONKY, the fattest cat on Solana. It brings together games, updates, memes and links to the wider CHONKY community. The app is independently developed and published by an individual based in France.
Data we collect
None. There is no account to create, no form to fill, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no crash reporting. We operate no server, so there is nowhere for your data to be sent to us.
Services the app contacts
To show live information, the app and the website make requests to a few third-party services. As with any internet request, those services can see your IP address. None of these requests carries an account, a name or any personal profile, because there is none.
DexScreener
Used to display the CHONKY price, market cap, volume and liquidity. The request contains only the public token address. No information about you or your wallet is sent.
Solana RPC
Used to read public data straight from the blockchain, through a public RPC endpoint. In the app, this reads your balances through api.mainnet-beta.solana.com, only after you connect a wallet, and the request contains your public wallet address, which is required to look up a balance.
On the website, it reads the total number of CHONKY holders when the page loads, through solana-rpc.publicnode.com. That request contains only the public token address, never a wallet, and nothing about you. Wallet addresses, balances and holder counts are public information on any blockchain.
Your wallet
Connecting a wallet uses the Solana Mobile Wallet Adapter. The app receives only your public address.
- The app never asks for, sees or stores a seed phrase or a private key.
- On a Solana Seeker, signing is handled by the Seed Vault and your keys never leave the phone.
- The app does not build, sign or send any transaction. Buying opens an exchange (Raydium or Jupiter) in your browser.
What is stored on your device
- Your chosen language, so the app opens in it next time.
- Your meme draft, including the last artwork you selected and any custom text you entered, is stored locally so it can be restored next time. This stays only on your device.
- The wallet authorisation issued by your wallet app, so you do not have to approve the connection on every launch. Removed when you disconnect.
- Memes you generate are drawn on your device and written to a temporary file only when you tap share. They are never uploaded anywhere.
Uninstalling the app removes all of it. On the website, the only thing kept is your language choice.
Links to other sites
The app and the site link to X, Telegram, chonky.com, Chonky Studio, the merch store, Jupiter, Raydium, DexScreener and Birdeye. Once you follow a link you are on someone else's service, under their own privacy policy. We have no control over them.
Children
This project is not directed at children under 13, and we knowingly collect no data from anyone, at any age.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. A material change to how the app handles data will also ship with an app update.
